Is your home stuck in a time warp? This one was and in need of a face lift. My client wanted a contemporary and comfortable space to enjoy every day as well as to entertain in. This was achieved by painting the walls a warm shade of dark gray which compliments the existing carpeting and creates a sense of depth and drama in the room. There is now seating for six on the neutral color furniture, a timeless foundation for the pops of color and detail in the pillows. And the fabric wall-hanging is the perfect focal point, adding life and energy to the room while tying everything together. Side note- the sofa also serves double duty as a sleeper which is an easy solution for apartment dwellers with overnight guests.
It was a lot of fun bringing this apartment into the 21st Century and it was accomplished on a budget of $2,000. As you will see in the photos of the bedroom, simply updating the bedding made a huge improvement.
